10:30am: The Ballyvaughan Fanore Easter Monday walk will stretch from Balliny to Slieve Elva. Meet at O’Donoghues Pub, Fanore.
11am: A 10k trail run takes place today at the Portumna Forest Park with a 5k family fun run at 1:15pm.
1pm: Learn about the wild foods of the west with a talk and tasting at Aniar.
3pm: Enjoy the whole hog – a pig on a spit – at Eat at Massimo.
7.30pm: The Galway Food Festival table quiz takes place at The Kings Head. Tables of 4, €40.
8pm: The Galway Language Exchange will meet at Kelly’s on Bridge Street for all you language lovers out there. It is a chance to practice speaking all sorts of languages.
8pm: Jimmy Buckley and band will play live at the Lady Gregory Hotel, Gort for a night of dancing.
9pm: Catch Araby as they play live at The Quays downstairs tonight.
9:30pm: Enjoy a free trad session with Kevin Whelan and Freda Hatton at The Crane bar on Sea Road.
10pm: Busker Brownes oozes with class and culture as the fantastic 18 piece Black Magic Big Band take you back to an era when jazz and swing roamed.
