A University taster day takes place at NUIG for all Leaving Cert students who are curious about college.
2pm: Children aged 7 upwards will be enthralled by the world tales of Rab Fulton as he engages in an afternoon of storytelling at the Galway City Museum.
7:30pm: For all of you budding writers, Charlie Adley’s Craft of Writing course begins this evening at the Galway Arts Centre on Dominick street for 8 weeks.
8pm: Comedians Karl Spain, Fred Cooke, Eleanor Tiernan, Colm O'Regan, Gerry Mallon and Christiane O'Mahoney are set to tickle your funny bone at the Roisin Dubh.
8pm: Keith Barry takes his spellbinding Brain Hacker tour to the Black Box theatre for a night of illusion and trickery with the acclaimed mentalist.
8:30pm: It’s the final night for ‘Shur I’ll be Alright Here on Me Own’ at the Town Hall Studio.
9pm: Trad at the Head is back at The King’s Head, with live traditional music, Irish dancers, and no cover charge to boot!
9pm: Folk band Caltra will be joined by FYC live at The Quays downstairs.
10:30pm: Don’t miss the ‘Screamin’ Bluecats’ at Garvey’s in Eyre Square for a night of rockabilly magic. Put on those Blue Suede Shoes.
11:45pm: It’s time for The Converse All Stars at the Roisin Dubh with their dirty blues, old school rock and funk.
