12pm: The Galway Bay Jazz Band play live at Busker Brownes for some swingin’ Sunday tunes.
12pm: A special mass of thanksgiving to mark the canonization of Pope John II and Pope John XXIII takes place at the Ballybrit racecourse. From 11am, there will be special screenings including edited highlights of the canonization ceremony in Rome.
1pm: Enjoy an afternoon trad session at The Crane Bar with Sean Ryan, Mick Crehan and guests.
2pm: A Kidisco takes place in Leisureland, Salthill, for an afternoon of the best tunes – age 3-12.
2pm: Youth variety club, Club Shine, from St Joseph’s Community Centre Shantalla presents Shine Your Way at the Town Hall Theatre for an afternoon of music dance and comedy ideal for all the family.
6pm: A live music Zumba party kicks off at the Salthill hotel for two hours of high energy dancing with numerous instructors. Proceeds go to Croí Galway.
8pm: Take in some Sunday swing music with Galway trio I Saw Stars at Kellys on Bridge Street.
9:00pm: It’s the Open Mic Night at the Roisin Dubh.Midnight: Cast front man, John Power, is set to bring a mix of his acoustic tunes and some of Cast’s popular tunes to Monroe’s Live for a night to remember, while you can wind down your weekend with The Rascals live at the backstage bar for their Sunday Sessions.
