11am: Baad Art, a collection by final year student at GMIT will exhibit at the Dominican Hall, The Claddagh, until July 28th as part of Fringe Fest.
11am: Bellwether 11, an exhibition of artists from Wickham Street Studios, past and present, takes place at the Galway Cultural Institute until July 28th for Fringe.
11am: Creature character puppet making with puppet shrewa doodle doo takes place at the Galway City Museum for babies to 6 years as part of Fringe Fest.
2pm: Renowned concert pianist Nick Ross will perform a selection to compliment the Music on the Water exhibition at the Galway City Museum.
7pm: Join the Galway Community Choir as they perform world music at the Methodist Church, Victoria Place. All welcome.
8pm: It’s the opening night of Chapatti at the Town Hall Theatre with John Mahoney and Penny Slusher in the world premiere by the Northlight Theatre Company.
8pm: Classically trained baritone singer Denis McArdle will entertain at Padraig’s Place, New Dock Road, as part of Fringe Fest.
8pm: Enjoy live jazz at Rouge restaurant on Dominick Street with Mike Corbett on piano and Keith McDonald on trumpet.
9pm: Sanatorium, a butoh dance performance takes place at Árus na nGael on Dominick Street.
9pm: Celebrating 10 years this year, Ireland’s no 1 music, song and dance experience, Trad On The Prom takes place at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill.
