11am: Creature character puppet making with puppet shrewa doodle doo takes place at the Galway City Museum for age 12-16 as part of Fringe Fest.
1pm: Enjoy lunchtime trad with Tommy Mccarthy and Louise Costello at Monroe’s.
6pm: Macnas artistic director, Noeline Kavanagh, will officially launch an exhibition Luke McMullan, New Paintings at the Kenny Gallery, Liosbán, Tuam Road for fringe.
7pm: The Dead Good Poetry and Music Society will perform at An Cupan Tae, 8 Quay Lane in the Latin Quarter, for fringe.
8pm: The Galway Cathedral Recitals features Gerard Gillen, organist for many years of Dublin’s Pro-Cathedral.
8pm: An evening of Celtic tales with Irish and Scottish storytelling take place at the Cottage Bar, Lower Salthill for fringe.
8pm: The Cub and Other Songs takes place at Padriag’s Place, New Dock Road, for fringe - a short experimental collection of songs telling one story.
9pm: Head to Trad On the Prom at the Galway Bay Hotel Salthill, for Ireland’s No 1 dance, music and song experience.
9:30pm: Catch the swingin’ style of Benny and the Goodmen at McSwiggans bar in Woodquay.
10pm: The hypnotic The Altered Hours will take to the Galway Fringe main stage at the Victoria Hotel, Victoria Place.
