6:30pm: They will be wined in dined in New York at the Metropolitan club this evening as NUIGs eighth annual gala dinner takes place in support of the centre for drama, theatre and performance. With 2014 honoree, Dr Garry Hynes, Tony award winner and founder, Druid Theatre.
7:30pm: Back home, the NUIG Science Ball takes place this evening at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill.
8pm: The 9 Arch Claregalway Musical Society presents The Wizard of Oz at the Town Hall Theatre.
8:30pm: Enjoy Comedy Cocktails upstairs at Busker Brownes on Cross Street.
9:30pm: Kevin Rohan, Monica Naughton and dancers are set to entertain at Barr an Chaladh, Woodquay with their trad and folk stylings.
