11am: Winter conferring ceremonies continue at the Bailey Allen Hall, NUIG.
2pm: If it’s a new hobby you are after, the Westside Knitters meet weekly at the Westside Library and new members are welcome.
7pm: Bí ag caint - a conversational Irish group meet every Wednesday in Clifden Library New members and visitors welcome.
7pm: A sean-nós dancing workshop with Gearóid Ó Dubháín takes place at the Aula Maxima, NUIG. The workshops are free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend.
8pm: There Is Bear theatre company presents ‘No Show’ – a comedic farce with big showband numbers at the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane.
8pm: Music for Galway presents My Cello, My Voice at the Aula Maxima, NUIG.
8:30pm: Enjoy Comedy Cocktails upstairs at Busker Brownes on Cross Street.
9pm: Noreena Gill will launch her new EP Something About You at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street. Support on the night comes from The Songwriter Club which includes Dennis Mockler, Mike O'Connor, Padraig O'Flaithearta, Padraig Stevens, Pete Duffy & Carla Merrigan. Followed by Noreena Gill with Live Band and finishing off the night with The Galway Jazz Jam.
9:30pm: Kevin Rohan, Monica Naughton and dancers are set to entertain at Barr an Chaladh, Woodquay with their trad and folk stylings.
9:30pm: Catch the trad session with Ailbhe O Monachain and John O’Halloran at the Crane bar on Sea Road.
10:30pm: Don’t miss the ‘Screamin’ Bluecats’ at Garvey’s in Eyre Square for a night of rockabilly magic. You ‘aint nothin’ but a hound dog!
