6pm: The Subtitle European Film Festival gets underway at the Town Hall Theatre this evening with the screenings of Frozen Land, A Coffee In Berlin (8:30pm) and Klown (10:30pm).
8pm: A meeting of the army and reserve force naval and air force social club takes place this evening at the Ballybane Social Co-Op on the Monivea Road aimed at all ex. men and women of the defence force.
8pm: Joe Finnegan and Friends will present two nights of the best in country western music at the Salthill Hotel this evening and Saturday evening. With Robert Mizzell, Jimmy Buckley, Declan Nerney, Mick Flavin, Limelite and Frank Forde.
9pm: More Cowbell will play everything from classic rock to smooth jazz live at the Quays downstairs.
9:30pm: Join Dj Will Softly at Club Arus na nGael on Dominick Street for worldwide future funk and blazing dancefloor beats.
10pm: Pearl Jem, a Pearl Jam Tribute band capture the raw energy and emotion of the Seattle giants in their live performance at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street.
