*The FoodieForum returns to GMIT today. This is the only one of its kind in an educational environment, with chefs, food producers, craft brewers, restaurateurs and culinary enthusiasts from around the country - with a collaborative demonstration by Sally McKenna and Kevin Thornton.

1pm: Enjoy some lunchtime classical tunes with Lunchtime@ the library. Join the ConTempo Quartet for this popular free event at the Galway City Library, Augustine Street.

7pm: Scotland’s most popular singer-songwriter, Isla Grant, makes a welcome return visit to the Town Hall Theatre with her From The Heart tour.

7pm: So Sue Me blogger, Suzanne Jackson, will give a hair and make-up demo and speak about her career at The College Bar NUIG this evening.

8pm: Theatrecorp presents The Duchess of Malfi at the Black Box Theatre. When the young widowed Duchess remarries her servant in secret, she unleashes a horrible revenge from her family.

8:30pm: Little John Nee presents The Galway Years at the Town Hall Studio - featuring stories from Little John Nee’s series of memoir performances and original songs.

9pm: Catch Fred and James live at the Quays downstairs, on Quay Street, two guys who like to play their acoustic guitars, sing songs, tell jokes, stories, and have an odd pint of Guinness.

9:30pm: A comedy cocktails standup showcase takes place upstairs at the Roisin Dubh on Dominick Street with a silent disco downstairs at 11pm.

10pm: A Tuesday night session takes place at Lowrys bar in Clifden. Traditional Irish music and song from the local Tuesday night session group. All musicians welcome.
