10am: A conference on the Human Right to Health takes place at the Aras Moyola Theatre NUIG in the presence of President Michael D Higgins.

10:30am: The Girl Who Forgot to Sing Badly, by Theatre Lovett, takes place at the Town Hall Theatre. Peggy has the voice of an angel, an angel who can’t sing at all, but that doesn’t stop her! Shows again at

3pm.

2pm: UK cellist Matthew Barley will lead a music making workshop at The Cube, NUIG - including a short performance - and what it means to be a professional musician.

6pm: The launch of the Galway International Rally takes place at Colm Quinn BMW showroom on the Tuam road with a ceremonial start at 8pm.

8pm: Something to Sing About Galway, a global choir of cancer survivors, will host a night of music and song at the G hotel to raise funds for cancer research. With Bel Canto, Padraig Connaughton, The Bluebirds, Kenneth Long, Galway Gospel Choir, Sionna and Traditional Irish Music.

8:30pm: Little John Nee presents The Galway Years at the Town Hall Studio - featuring stories from Little John Nee’s series of memoir performances and original songs - beginning with a weekend that lasted over twenty years.

9:30pm: Iron Mountain, a multi-instrumental group from Limerick, bring kraut-rock, folk, jazz, metal, psychedelia post rock and more to Monroe’s Live this evening.
