Happy Valentines Day!
11am: Galway Music Residency presents a 3-part concert series – Music for All featuring performances from classical string quartets to wind soloists to traditional musicians throughout the Galway City Museum. No booking required.
2pm: A wedding fair takes place at the Westwood House Hotel with food tasting, sample cocktails, resident florist, wine expert and live guest link.
7:30pm: A Valentine’s Charity Ball takes place at the Raheen Woods hotel, Athenry in aid of Cancer Care West and Pieta House.
7:30pm: The annual NBCRI Valentines Ball takes place at the G hotel.
8pm: Broadcaster, psychoanalyst and author, Michael Murphy, will be joined by Emer O’Kelly, Eamonn Lawlor and Eileen Dunne in powerful readings from his three books at the Town Hall Theatre.
8pm: A new documentary by Kamil Krolak and Niall O’Floinn, Galway Bailando, will be launched on Valentine;s day in the Galway Commercial Boat Club with live Latin band La Orquesta las Kalamares, and DJs covering every genre of dance music in the video.
8:30pm: A salsa, kizomba and bachata Valentine’s party takes place at the Galway Dance Centre, Terryland.
8:30pm: Juno award winning singer songwriter, Amelia Curran, will bring her style of music to Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street.
