10:30am: Learn to sew your own a-line skirt at the Slieve Aughty Centre at the Three Towers, Kylebrack West, Loughrea.

1pm: Head to Busker Brownes on Cross Street for the best jazz brunch in town with the Galway Bay Jazz band.

2pm: A wedding fair takes place at the Westwood House Hotel with food tasting, sample cocktails, resident florist, wine expert and live guest link.

4pm; For some afternoon music, Kellys on Bridge Street host the Lazy Jazz Trio.

8pm: International Award winning singer songwriter, Pete Kennedy, who is now a Nashville based recording artist will gig at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street as part of his 2015 World Tour.

8pm: The Galway Film Society presents Me, Myself and Mum at the Town Hall Theatre. Comedian Guillaume Gallienne’s first directorial work, based on his one-man play, recalls his youth among the upper class and his ambiguous affinity with his mother, who raised him as more of a daughter than a son, insisting that he is gay despite Guillaume’s uncertainty.

10pm: The Corrib Social Dancing Club organises weekly Sunday Night Dancing at the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill with varied live bands. Admission is €8.
