7am: The Galway Bay FM radiothon in aid of the Galway Hospice and Cancer Care West takes place today.
*Tea and sandwiches and all of the usual high jinx activities are being prepared for the 9th Annual Fr. Ted Festival - Tedfest. The 2015 Tedfest will see events taking place on Inis Mór.
1pm: GMIT’s Moxegen festival gets underway with Keywest, Mundy, Smash Hits, Vann Music and much more.
6pm: The Galway Chamber Business After Hours networking event takes place at the Glenlo Abbey hotel this evening.
7pm: A lecture on the Impact of the Great War on Galway takes place at the Galway City Museum with author Cormac Ó Comhraí.
7:30pm: A fundraising race night takes place at the Harbour Hotel in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation. The night kicks off at 7:30pm with a glass of wine and the races begin at 8.
8pm: Decadent Theatre Company presents the Irish Premiere of The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh.
8:30pm: Fregoli Theatre Company presents Mary Mary Mary at the Town Hall Theatre Studio - a delicately woven poetic piece about three generations of Irish women.
9pm: Guinness Amplify presents Hare Squead, Rocstrong and Chris Haze at Monroe’s Live tonight.
9pm: The Certain Three - Joan Shelley, Vikesh Kapoor, John Blek - will gig at Kelly’s on Bridge Street tonight.
10pm: The Widowed Persons Society organise Social Dancing every Thursday night at the Galway Bay Hotel Salthill.
11pm: Bruce Willis Galway presents Paul Woolford – aka Special Request at Carbon Niteclub, Eglinton Street.
