10am: GMIT will host their Shave or Dye or Oh My event in aid the Irish Cancer Society in Union Square, GMIT, Dublin Road Campus. Lecturers and students will have professional waxing and shaving done, while there will also be coloured hair spray and vibrant wigs.

*The Galway Enterprise Office in Woodquay will hold a Visual Merchandising one day course today at their premises in Woodquay. Learn how to best present your product.

10:30am: As part of Seachtain Na Gaeilge 2015, Galway UNESCO City of Film is delighted to partner with the IFI Education and An Taidhbhearc to show a selection of Gearrscannáin. The screening is aimed at students of Irish and is part of the IFI Education programme. The Gearrscannáin shown will include Beirt le Chéile, Rúbaí and, from 2014, Rince and Céad Ghrá. Some of the film-makers will be present to talk about the films.

5pm: A FIFA 15 tournament takes place at GMIT in the IQ Bar until 8pm in aid of the Hand in Hand charity

8pm: The Patrician Musical Society presents West Side Story at the Town Hall Theatre.

9:30pm: A comedy cocktails standup showcase takes place upstairs at the Roisin Dubh on Dominick Street with a silent disco downstairs at 11pm.

9pm: Catch Fred and James live at the Quays downstairs, on Quay Street.

9pm: It’s the grand final of Buskfactor at the Blue Note bar as contestants have 10 minutes to wow the judges.

10pm: A Tuesday night session takes place every Tuesday at Lowrys bar in Clifden. Traditional Irish music and song from the local Tuesday night session group. All musicians welcome.
