12pm: A screening of the Irish-language sports programme Laochra Gael (Gaelic Heroes) dedicated to Enda Colleran takes place at the Galway City Museum.

12pm: Senator Lorraine Higgins is delighted to be joined by leading Galway women to celebrate International Women’s Day 2015 today to speak on the theme of ‘Inspiring Women’ at the Harbour Hotel on New Dock Road.
2pm: A brief talk on the history of the Irish language takes place at the Galway City Museum.
2:30pm: A matinee performance of West Side Story takes place at the Town Hall Theatre followed by an evening show at 8pm.
8pm: The chatty man, comedian Alan Carr takes his ‘yap, yap, yap’ tour to the Black Box Theatre.
8pm: Three short plays by Enda Walsh; How These Desperate Men Talk; My Friend Duplicity and The Small Things will be performed at the Bank of Ireland theatre, NUIG.
8:30pm: GaelGÁIRÍ, the country's only Irish language stand-up comedy club, will come to Galway for the first time to the Róisín Dubh with Kevin McAleer and Michael Mee.
9:30pm: Puzzle presents Joe Ford with support from Zenji x Valaria, Phunty X Zigguratt and Dj Teknonotice at Kellys Bar on Bridge Street.
9:30pm: Máirtín Ó Gríofa and Brian Terry Mac Donnchadha will gig at Club Áras na nGael for Seachtain na Gaeilge.
