The CRAIC in Galway turns 44

CRAIC-44-FRONT-COVERsmall.jpg

Welcome to the 44th edition of the Craic in Galway magazine. Well it’s Anything Goes here as your craicing editor is taking part in the upcoming GMS production at the Town Hall Theatre. It’s my first time to undertake such an adventure and you can read all about it between these pages. And we have a craicing Q and A with the star of the show, former Rose of Tralee winner Roisin Egenton. It’s enough to make a song and dance about for sure and has consumed my social life for the last number of months. As we go to print, we have just recovered from Paddy’s Day and have some great photos from Darius Ivan capturing the moments of the parade. The sun has finally put his hat on and we have finally said ‘Bon Voyage’ to the snow, slush, ice and gales that have ‘Blow, Gabriel, Blow’n our way in recent times. And yes those are songs from the show. Blatent pluggery there. ‘I Get A Kick’ out of it! Ok I will stop now. Fans of watersports will be delighted to hear that the Galway Watersports Show and National Summit 2015 will take place here in the city in April. And as always we have the very best of good news, views, fashion and fun between the pages of our little but large magazine.
