12pm: The fourth annual Preda Galway, the Philippines based children's charity, 5k Run for Freedom takes place at the Galway racecourse at Ballybrit.
2pm: An illustrated talk on Galwaymen in the Great War takes place at the Galway City Museum.
5pm: Dr Sketchys Anti Art School takes place at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street this evening – a life drawing class
turned cabaret extravaganza.
7:30pm: Standing On Ceremony: short plays about equal marriage will take place at An Taibhdhearc theatre, Middle Street organised by Acting Out.
8pm: The play Bassam will be at the Town Hall Theatre tonight - a powerful drama based on the true story of Bassam Aramin, co-founder of the Israeli-Palestinian peace movement Combatants for Peace.
8pm: Galway’s Funky Seomra is back and takes place at the Galway Arts Centre, 47 Lower Dominick Street. Two Djs over three floors at this alcohol and drug free event.
8pm: Concorde contemporary music ensemble will perform with ConTempo quartet in Nun’s Island Theatre.
9pm: Join singer Rebecca Harkin at Monroe’s Live on Dominick Street with support from Jessica Doherty with Recoil bringing the best floor fillers at midnight.
9pm: Cumann Peile Na bPiarsaigh will hold their social and awards night at Tigh Mhico Rosmuc.
