9:30am: A woodland conservation walk -a guided walk in the woods with ecological experts, takes place at Crann Óg Eco Farm, Gort, led by Dr Cilian Roden of GMIT, Gordon D’Arcy conservationist and author, Jack Roberts author and independent researcher and Andrew St Ledger of The Woodland League.
8pm: Aon Teanga - who reunite the song traditions of the Gaelic nations – will play tonight in St Nicholas Collegiate Church as part of the Tunes at the Church summer series.
8:30pm: A Room With No View takes place at the Town Hall Studio as part of The Colours Fringe Festival - highlighting mental illness in Irish society.
8:30pm: A free event takes place at Club Arus na nGael on Dominick Street to help Irish language learners Oíche na bhfoghlaimeoirí. All levels of fluency catered for.
9pm: FYC will play live at The Quays downstairs, a 5 piece rock, pop, funk, ska, reggae covers band from Galway.
9pm: Trad at the Head takes place this evening at the King’s Head on High Street with live
traditional music and Irish dancers. No cover charge.
10:30pm: Don’t miss the ‘Screamin’ Bluecats’ at Garvey’s in Eyre Square for a night of
rockabilly magic. You ‘aint nothin’ but a hound dog!
